The Executive Council of the Public Entity Sint Eustatius met on 7 May 2026 to consider matters relating to economic regulation, cultural development and community events. Decisions approved included the implementation of revised gasoline and gasoil prices effective 15 May 2026, support for the organisation of the 2026 Emancipation Day celebrations through a co-funding partnership, and the appointment of a Carnival Committee for the period 2026–2030 to ensure the continued growth, stability and development of St. Eustatius Carnival.
