Runway grooving at the St. Eustatius F.D. Roosevelt Airport completed

From August 31st to September 8th 2020, a project was executed by the Dir. Of ENI in collaboration with RWS to improve the surface of the runway at the St. Eustatius F.D. Roosevelt Airport.

The goal of the project was to improve the rigidity and drainage of the runway surface. This was done by grooving the runway surface.

To accommodate the airport operations, Subcontracted by Van Boekel;  the works was primarily done at night and was executed by a company Roadgrip from the UK who are specialised in such applications on operational runways,
