The integrity of civil servants is key to a trustworthy and effective public service. If you witness or are affected by a civil servant’s misconduct in the course of their official duties, you have the right to report it as a suspected integrity violation.

What is an Integrity Violation?

An integrity violation is any behaviour that goes against ethical and professional standards as mentioned in the Code of Conduct of Public Entity St. Eustatius.

Such as:

  • Abuse of power
  • Corruption or bribery
  • Discrimination or favouritism
  • Misuse of public resources
  • Dishonesty or falsification of records

What can you report?

You may report conduct by a civil servant that:

  • Occurs during or as part of their official duties
  • Violates the code of conduct, policies
  • Affects public trust in the civil service
