Job Coaches (two position )
The Public Entity Sint Eustatius (OLE) carries out both municipal and provincial tasks on this special municipality of the Netherlands. Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Job Coach within the Labor Department, you support residents of Sint Eustatius in their path towards employment and participation. You guide a diverse target group, including jobseekers, youth, and individuals with a distance to the labor market, and help them strengthen their employability.
You translate policy into practical support by coaching clients, connecting them to opportunities, and working closely with employers and partners to achieve sustainable placements.
- Conduct intakes and assess skills, talents, and barriers
- Develop and monitor individual action plans
- Coach and guide clients towards employment or training
- Match candidates with jobs, internships, or education opportunities
- Support with applications, CVs, and interview preparation
- Guide youth transitioning from school to work
- Monitor placements and support job retention
- Maintain contact with employers and partner organizations
- Refer clients to relevant support services when needed
- Maintain accurate administration and provide progress reports
Employment Conditions
The selected candidate may receive:
- Temporary employment for a trial period of one year, with the prospect of permanent employment.
- Salary: Scale 8, gross monthly between $3,312.81 – $4,601.12 (36-hour workweek)
- Working hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week.
- Allowances: Holiday allowance of 8.33% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33% of the annual salary.
- 182 holiday hours per year pro rata based of a 36-hour working week.

Required Skills and Competencies
Required Skills and Competencies
- MBO+/HBO level in Social Work, HR, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience in coaching, reintegration, or labor market guidance
- Experience working with vulnerable target groups is an advantage
- Job coach certification or willingness to obtain one
- Affinity with the social domain and labor market development
Required competencies
- Clear communication skills in both English and Dutch (verbal and written)
- Strong coaching and motivational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Administrative accuracy and reporting skills
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to the Statia community
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset

An assessment, case, and/or reference check may be part of the procedure. The selected candidate must provide a certificate of good conduct (VOG) and undergo medical evaluation for inclusion in the pension fund.
