LVVN visits Statia to review progress on key NEPP projects

This week, representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature (LVVN) visited Sint Eustatius to discuss the progress of several projects under the Nature and Environment Policy Plan (NEPP) and the Strategic Action Plan for Sustainable Agriculture (SAPSA).

As part of their visit, they passed by the slaughterhouse, Made in Statia, the agrivoltaics projects and several of the nature projects executed by STENAPA, such as, reforestation, coral reef restoration, conservation of keystone species that fall under NEPP. The visit focused on progress made since the previous visit last year, as well as on discussing the next steps, including the second phase of the NEPP.

Further updates and progresses on these projects will be shared on the Statia Government official pages.
