Kingdom Healthcare Continuity Group Sets 2025 Priorities in Curaçao

The Kingdom Working Group on Healthcare Continuity in Emergencies and Disasters formerly known as the Four-Country Crisis Group met in Curaçao on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 April to discuss key priorities for the year ahead.

 

The agenda focused on preparation for the 2025 hurricane season, managing potential infectious disease outbreaks, closer alignment of public health departments across Bonaire, St Eustatius and Saba, and the development of a joint Education, Training and Exercise (ETE) programme.

The meeting brought together public health and crisis management officials from across the Dutch Caribbean and the European Netherlands. Attendees included representatives from the Ministries of Health in Curaçao and the Netherlands, the Public Entities of Bonaire and St Eustatius, the RIVM, and the governments of St Maarten and Saba.
