Planning an Event? Here's What You Need to Know

If you want to organise an event in Sint Eustatius, you may need an Event Permit. Event Permits help ensure events are safe, well-organised, and do not disturb public order.

What is an Event?

An event is any planned activity where people come together for a unique purpose. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Community gatherings

  • Cultural celebrations

  • Sports events

  • Commercial activities (e.g. fundraisers)

The Island Governor is responsible for approving or rejecting Event Permit applications.

Key Points to Remember:

  • Apply early! Large events (100+ people) require applications at least three (3) months in advance.

  • All other event applications must be submitted at least 20 working days before the scheduled event.
